How to run a zoo

1. Build a habitat. Pick one on the Build tab, then drag a rectangle on the map. Bigger is better — animals need space, and a cramped exhibit makes them miserable.
2. Stock it. Click the habitat, then buy animals that match it. Most species want company; a lone flamingo is a sad flamingo.
3. Staff it. Keepers feed, vets treat, janitors clean. They work a 06:00–20:00 shift, so one of each only covers so much zoo.
4. Watch the money. Guests pay at the gate and spend at kiosks. Ticket revenue peaks somewhere near $18 — charge more and they stop coming.
5. Earn stars. Reputation, variety, welfare and collection size set your rating, and rarer species unlock as it climbs.
